Sky installation specification updated and based on Standard

Sky Television has recently released an updated commercial installation specification which is based on AS/NZS 1367:2007, Coaxial cable and optical fibre systems or the RF distribution of analog and digital television and sound signals in single and multiple dwelling installations.

Radio equipment and systems – new Standard

AS/NZS 4268:2008 provides the minimum performance and methods of measurement for short-range devices:

  • placed on the Australian market in accordance with the LIPD and Radio-controlled Models Class Licences, or
  • short-range devices placed on the New Zealand market in accordance with the General User Radio Licence.

Test methods are generally referenced from various ETSI SRD standards and other sources.  Supersedes AS/NZS 4268:2003.
