Becoming a reseller of Standards is a straight-forward process that's quick and easy to set up. Qualifying organisations include bookshops, industry organisations or associations, membership organisations, and so on.
We'll send you a resellers agreement to read, sign and return. Once we have received the signed agreement, we'll set you up as a Standards New Zealand member. You'll receive:
- A credit account for purchases (payment must be received 20th of the month following)
- A 20% discount off retail for all purchases on this account
- A complementary copy of the Standards magazine, and an invitation to subscribe to our Touchstone e-zine to help you keep up-to-date with current products
Ordering Standards as a reseller
When your customers want to purchase copies of Standards, you take their order then simply phone 0800 782 632, fax 04 498 5994 or email your order through to enquiries@standards.co.nz.
You'll need to provide the correct Standards number (such as AS/NZS 3116:2002), the name of the Standard, the quantity, and confirmation of the physical address the order is to be delivered to.
Please note Standards New Zealand can arrange for delivery of Standards direct to your customer if required. A handling/courier charge will be applied to each order with a different delivery address.
Standards New Zealand will:
- Dispatch ordered goods to you the same day for products that are in stock (if the order is received by 2pm). These include most NZS, and Joint AS/NZS Standards
- Work with you when you 'take the initiative' to encourage sales
- Allow you to return (for credit) any Standards New Zealand publications within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in new, saleable condition. We are not however able to accept returns on any overseas Standards.
No restriction on how often you can order
You can place orders as often as you like – you can combine orders and place an amalgamated order once a day, or email or call through individual orders. Note that volume discounts may be available for bulk orders of the same Standard.
