Tips on opening ebooks

To view the ebook, download the EPUB file, then either transfer it to your e-reader or open the file with an ebook reader app. (At this stage, our ebooks cannot be viewed through Kindle.)

On Android and Apple iOS devices, Google Play Books is a free app you can download to read ebooks, and on Apple devices, iBooks is the pre‑installed ebook reader. There are plenty of other ebook-reading apps, and the file should work on any that host EPUB files.

Mobile devices vary in how easily they recognise downloaded files. It is often best to upload the file to your chosen reader’s library from a computer first.

If you are viewing the ebook on a desktop or laptop computer with Windows 10 installed, it is recommended you view the ebook (right click and select ‘Open with’) using Microsoft Edge. Edge is the only browser currently that opens ebooks without a plugin.
