Standards New Zealand has been working closely with Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) and individual local government bodies across the country to ensure that documents are developed specifically to meet the needs of this sector. The collaboration has resulted in many documents, such as model general by-laws covering everything from trade waste to the correct structure of meetings. Helping local government to achieve its strategic vision and goals is a key area for Standards New Zealand and one that is expected to continue to grow.
